For over seventy years, our family has owned Tracy’s Drive-In Grocery. So much has changed over the years, but Bastrop has always remained a wonderful place with wonderful people.
We’re overjoyed about having been able to serve our community and our neighborhood with groceries, friendship, and good conversation. Generations of young kids have been able to say they had their first job in our store, countless hardworking people have stopped in on their way home in the evenings, and we’ve helped support our neighboring farms and businesses. And despite a very challenging 2020, we are grateful to have been able to keep Tracy’s going--safely and for the good of our customers.
We’re also excited to tell you we have found new owners who share and value our commitment to serving the Bastrop community. We will be assisting with a smooth transition for the remainder of the month, and we hope you’ll stop by and celebrate this good news with us. We will still be at the store, just this time on the other side of the counter, and hope to see you stopping by for sodas and groceries so we can tell you how much we’re enjoying being retired.
